古典亦時尚 Classic Vogue

 《夏灣拿小夜曲》從莫札特著名的小夜曲《Eine kleine Nachtmusik》中汲取靈感。樂曲描繪了一幅色彩繽紛的古巴夏灣拿夜晚景象，充滿感染力的騷莎舞節奏與熱烈歡騰的氣氛。作品中還加入了蒙圖諾的即興段落，由樂器之間的對話生動地模仿夏灣拿晚上熱鬧奔放的舞蹈與氛圍。 

 《廣東芬》是一首富有創意的融合作品。它將貝多芬《第五交響曲》的標誌性開頭動機及其中一個主要主題，與傳統廣東音樂的旋律風格結合在一起。樂曲中爵士鼓和鋼琴融入了古巴音樂的哈巴奈拉節奏 —— 這是對1960年代陳厚中西樂隊的廣東音樂專輯《勝利歸來》的致敬，該專輯的廣東音樂編曲借鑒了拉丁美洲的節奏。 

Havana Serenade draws inspiration from Mozart’s beloved serenade Eine kleine Nachtmusik. The piece paints a colourful picture of a lively night in Havana, Cuba, filled with the infectious rhythms and exuberant spirit of salsa dance. It also features a montuno improvisatory section between the instruments, vividly imitating the energetic dancing and festive atmosphere of a night in Havana. 

Canthoven is a creative fusion piece that blends the iconic opening motif and one of the main themes from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 with the melodic style of traditional Guangdong music. The piece incorporates the Cuban habanera rhythm in the jazz drum set and piano — a tribute to the 1960s Guangdong music album The Victorious Return by Chen Hou’s Chinese-Western Orchestra, which frequently integrated Latin American rhythmic elements into its Guangdong music arrangements. 

 《風》是一首以巴赫的音樂風格為靈感，並用現代樂團語言表達的替代搖滾歌曲。它從一個小小的「風」主題出發，讓每條旋律線都像獨立的聲部一樣運作 —— 如同賦格曲一般：其中一部分先提出主題，其他聲部則以重疊與倒影去「追逐」它。驅動整首歌前進的底音部份，是充滿生命力、持續推動的律動；而那個主題也不斷被置換與變形，朝著風的各種走向前進：時而像微風拂面，時而成為穩定的氣流，接著又突然遇到阻力。整體的推進感幾乎不曾真正停下；歌曲在一段段安靜的段落裡暫時退潮，隨後再次在段落推進中爆發 — 在那裡，「風」彼此於碰撞、對齊，並再次在同一個名字之下旋轉盤繞。 

 《雪》是由紀將柴可夫斯基的《雪花圓舞曲》重新演繹為現代流行／R&B／放克律動。經典的雪花主題依舊清晰可辨，但在不同段落中逐步演化 —— 在主歌中以濾波呈現，在前副歌中逐漸強化，並在副歌中綻放為明亮而完整的旋律鉤子。鍵盤、琵琶與中阮的副旋律短暫地「回應」主線，增添閃耀與推進感。專門的段落突顯圓舞曲標誌性的節拍，以保留其舞蹈傳統。透過柔和的呼嘯聲、呢喃般的聲音層次，以及在開端主題加入的雪花質感，營造出雪花飄落的氛圍。 

Kaze is an alternative-rock song that blends Bach’s musical style into modern band language. It begins with a small wind motif, treating each musical line like a distinct voice — like a fugue — where one part states the theme and the others pursue it through overlap and inversion. A relentless, living sense of rhythm carries the foundation forward, while the motif keeps transforming — taking on new shapes and directions the way wind can change...

 Yuki reimagines Tchaikovsky’s The Waltz of the Snowflakes as a modern pop/R&B/funk groove. The iconic snowflake motif remains recognizable but evolves across sections — filtered in the verse, intensified in the pre-chorus, and expanded into a radiant chorus hook. A counter-melody on keys, pipa, zhongruan briefly answers the main line, adding shimmer and forward momentum. A dedicated passage highlights the waltz’s signature pulse to preserve its dance heritage...

 《離別》象徵在生命中的某些時刻人們總要離別珍重的人和事以迎接璀璨的將來。這部作品的靈感來自二十世紀現代主義作曲家貝拉‧巴托克的音樂。巴托克的創作深受其祖國匈牙利舞曲的影響，其音樂特色在於將不對稱節奏與不協和弦融入清晰的形式結構及調性框架之中。《離別》同樣實現了傳統與現代元素的平衡：既包含奏鳴曲式和調性和聲進行等傳統要素，也運用了半音階旋律、八度音階和聲以及混合節拍等現代手法。 

Departure represents moments in life where we need to leave behind something important in order to move forward toward a better future. This piece is inspired by the music of 20th century modernist composer Béla Bartók... It features a balance of traditional elements such as sonata form and tonal harmonic progressions alongside modern elements such as chromatic melodies, harmonies based on the octatonic scale, and mixed meter. 

 《阿帕拉契之春的預兆》將兩個看似截然不同的音樂世界連結起來：史特拉汶斯基《春之祭》中那股原始而狂野的能量與美國鄉村音樂那份輕鬆自在的律動。標題取自《春之祭》中的〈春的預兆〉一章，以其沉重而不規則的節奏聞名，彷彿要將大地踏醒。在這首作品中，那股狂野的能量化作驚喜，在原本悠然的鄉村節奏中突然冒出。 

Augurs of Appalachian Spring brings together two musical worlds that seem worlds apart: the wild, primal energy of Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring and the easygoing groove of American country music. The title nods to Augurs of Spring, the section of Stravinsky's ballet famous for its pounding, off-kilter rhythms that seem to stomp the earth awake. In this piece, that same untamed energy resurfaces as sudden surprises within an otherwise easygoing country groove. 

改編自蕭邦的E小調前奏曲，本曲改為6/8拍，並加入了低音吉他與鼓組，營造出更為沉重的氛圍。主旋律過後，樂曲進入鋼琴炫技獨奏，融合了蕭邦《冬風練習曲》的彈奏技巧，在樂團的伴奏與主旋律交織下華麗炫技，展現出如鋼琴協奏曲般磅礡的氣勢。 

作品旋律取材自德布西的名作《亞麻色頭髮的少女》，並將其改編成極具律動感的舞曲風格。全曲由前半段典雅的古典編曲，漸漸轉化為節奏強烈的舞曲編制，象徵著這位少女從純樸鄉郊邁入繁華都市。到了樂曲尾聲，在躍動的節奏中展開即興獨奏，彷彿少女在舞池中央忘我地盡情起舞。 

Based on Chopin’s Prelude in E Minor, this adaptation shifts into a 6/8 groove, using bass and drums to drive a heavy, brooding energy. After the main theme, this piece explodes into a breathtaking piano solo. Borrowing the ferocious technique of Chopin's Winter Wind Étude, the piano unleashes a flurry of virtuosity, intertwining brilliantly with the band’s main melody and accompaniment to capture the sheer grandeur of a full piano concerto. 

The melody is adapted from Debussy's masterpiece, The Girl with the Flaxen Hair, reimagined here as a lively piece driven by a strong, infectious groove. Starting with an elegant, classical arrangement, the music gradually transforms into a driving dance rhythm, capturing the girl's transition from the quiet countryside to the bustling city. The piece reaches its peak with an improvisational solo over a vibrant beat, painting a vivid picture of her losing herself completely on the dance floor.
